Server Maintenance - Usally Occurs the second Friday of each month at 6:00PM.   

Microsoft Corporation releases their updates on the second Tuesday of each month.  Once these updates are received they are tested by our network group.  If there are no failures, the updates are deployed the following Friday.  When a failure or complication occurs the deployment of these updates is delayed.  Information about scheduled updates is emailed to each faculty and staff member before the updates occur.  If you have questions or comments about these updates, please contact our Help Desk.

 

The following systems and services will be unavailable during this time period:

  • Outlook email and Outlook Web Access
  • MyMarshall portal and applications
  • Your ability to logon to the Marshall network
  • Network drives (Both on-campus and via FTP)
  • Marshall web pages
  • Applications that run on Marshall servers
  • Network printing

Please be sure to save your work and logoff from the Marshall network prior to scheduled maintenance.
