What is a USC Account?
All students and employees of USC have a computer (UNIX) account that allows them to:
- Use USC as their Internet Service Provider.
- Connect to the Internet on Campus via ResNet or Wireless.
- Create Web Pages.
- Use USC Web Mail E-mail (http://email.usc.edu)
- Access Blackboard (http://totale.usc.edu).
- Store 50MB of Files on USC Servers.
How do I access my USC account?
Prior to using any systems tied to USC systems (see above), you must activate your USC account at the following location: http://www.usc.edu/isd/firstlogin. During this process, you will be given a username and you will create a password.
Who administrates USC accounts?
USC accounts are administrated by USC's Information Service Division (ISD). They can be reached at: (213) 740-5555
What if I forget my USC username?

What if I forget my USC password?

How do I change my USC Password?
You must know your existing password to change it. Visit the following address to change your USC password: http://www.usc.edu/isd/password
How long after I graduate will be USC account be active?
USC accounts stay active until 90 days after your graduation date.
How does a visiting scholar get a USC account?
The Marshall Help Desk Authorized signer can request a USC account for a visiting scholar. Contact the Marshall Help Desk in HOH 300 or at (213) 740-3000.
