Team Profiles
Jay Binstock
Jay Binstock is the Founder of the Finance Learning Center where he coordinates operations and works as a Tutor. He expects to graduate cum laude from the Marshall School of Business at USC with a concentration in Investments and Financial Markets. Jay has equity research internship experience with Relational Investors, a San Diego activist fund, and Think Equity Partners, a San Francisco investment bank. Jay is also a founding member of USC's Undergraduate Student Investment Fund, where he helps quantify and hedge portfolio skew and analyzes Industrial and Energy equities.
Tim Knust-Graichen
Tim Knust-Graichen is a founding member of the Finance Learning Center where he works as a Tutor. He is a 2nd semester senior at USC and expects to graduate Summa Cum Laude. Tim has finance internship experience in private equity and business valuation, and on campus experience via Trojan Investing Society. Tim will be working in business valuation/investment banking at SEG Co. after graduation.
Nicole Kasar
Nicole Kasar is a senior from Pacific Palisades majoring in Accounting and Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. She previously worked with group of financial advisors in the Global Private Client division at Merrill Lynch in Downtown Los Angeles. She also worked in the Audit Division of Moss Adams LLP in Brentwood this past summer.
Sean Major
Sean Major is a tutor for the Finance Learning Center. He is a junior majoring in Business with a Financial Analysis and Valuation concentration. He is president of the Trojan Investing Society, worked as an intern at Citi, summer analyst at Macquarie Bank, and will be a summer analyst at Credit Suisse this coming summer.
Matthew Conrad Mueller
Matt Mueller is a founding member of the Finance Learning Center and a tutor. He expects to graduate in May of 2009 from Marshall with a concentration in Finance and minor in Neuroscience. Matt is involved in the Trojan Investing Society and the Rocket Propulsion Laboratory.

Matthew Riley
Matthew Riley is a founding member of the Finance Learning Center where he serves as the Director of Finance and Quality Control. He is a Freshman majoring in Business and is planning to concentrate in Finance. Matthew has worked as a Research Analyst for Northwestern Mutual Financial Network and hopes to further learn about mutual funds and equities through future internships. He is an analyst for the Trojan Investing Society, a contributing writer for the Trojan Investing Newsletter and a member of USC’s Entrepreneur Club.
Amir Sadr
Amir Sadr is a founding member of the Finance Learning Center, where he works as a tutor. He expects to graduate from USC this May, where he studies Finance in the Marshall School of Business. Amir has had several internships in the realm of finance, more specifically in venture capital research at Growthink, private client work at Merrill Lynch, and private equity experience at Kayne Anderson.
Roxanne Sadr
Roxanne Sadr is a Founding Member and the Director of Promotion for the Finance Learning Center. She is a sophomore in the Marshall School of Business where she studies Finance. Roxanne has internship experience as a private equity analyst for Kayne Anderson. Prior to that, she interned for Merrill Lynch's global private client group and in Nickelodeon's communications division. Roxanne is also the Director of Marketing for the USC Marshall Minute and a Financial Analyst for the Trojan Investing Society.
