Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Exam
Exam Eligibility
If you plan to sit for the CPA exam in the State of California, you will need to meet the following requirements by the time you apply to sit for the exam:
- Baccalaureate Degree from a regionally or nationally accredited college or university
- 24 semester units in accounting
- 24 semester units in business-related courses
If you plan to sit for the CPA exam in a state other than California, please refer to that state board's CPA exam requirements, as requirements vary from state to state.
