How can I get assistance in using USC databases?
I have a citation for a journal article, how can I find the full-text version of the article?
To search for an online version, use the link for "eJournals" and search for the title of the journal from any Library home page. The journal may be available in more than one database, depending on the date range. Select the link for the database you need and search for the article within it. You can also search the online catalog, HOMER, which may provide a link for online access and will also tell you if the journal is available in print fom and in which library. Not all journals are available in electronic form.
How can I see how many times a certain article has been cited?
How can I get assistance with locating sources of statistical data?
How can I get assistance with statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, etc.?
Where can I find data on mergers and acquisitions (M&A)?
Where can I find data on initial public offerings (IPO's) and venture capital?
Some basic IPO information can be found in the Hoover's database. For quantitative IPO research, you will probably want to use the SDC Platinum database. Venture capital data can also be fond in SDC. Please contact Librarian Eduardo Tinoco (213-740-9167) for assistance with SDC.
