MEDLINE and Medical Practice Tools
Health Services Technology Assessment Texts (HSTAT)
Provides access to full-text documents for health care decision making. Includes clinical practice guidelines, quick-reference guides for physicians, consumer brochures, and evidence reports from the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research.
MEDLINE and Other National Library of Medicine Databases
Includes free access, through PubMed and Grateful Med, to MEDLINE, AIDSLINE, AIDSDRUGS, AIDSTRIALS, DIRLINE, HealthSTAR (which combines the former HEALTH [Health Planning and Administration] and HSTAR [Health Service/Technology Assessment Research]), HISTLINE and SDILINE databases. Medline Ovid subscription access is also available through the Norris Medical Library.

NIH Clinical Alerts and Advisories
Clinical alerts are provided to expedite the release of findings from NIH-funded clinical trials where such release could significantly affect morbidity and mortality.

A subscription web portal that contains drug information, news alerts, resource center for patients, and a medical dictionary.

An independent, nonprofit organization that reports on the quality of the nation's managed care organizations; includes listing of summary accreditation reports for various health plans and the full text of HEDIS (Health Plan Employer Data and Information Set). Has separate pages for consumers, employers/unions, government, health-care organizations, providers and researchers.
