Downloading from TableBase™ to Excel
- Step 1. Highlight and "Copy" table.
- Step 2. Paste into Excel.
- Step 3. Highlight the first column of data only.
- Step 4. Click on "Data" on the Excel menu bar.
- Step 5. Click on "Text to Columns."
- Step 6. Choose the "Fixed Width" option on the "Convert Text to Columns Wizard" dialog box.
- Step 7. Format preview of column or click "Next" or "Finish."
Now you can perform Excel functions on the data!

Hints
- Use "Copy" instead of "Cut" (You will want an original copy for proofing).
- When you highlight the table, begin flush to the left edge of the table, including character spaces.
- After "Finish" check first column of information -- often long text entries may not fit neatly. To correct this, select "Format - Column -AutoFit - Selection," or adjust the column width by dragging the column divider at the top of the spreadsheet.
- Several vertical tables can be stitched together by continuing to insert tables horizontally. Simply delete any repeated columns when finished.
