Scholarship Application

The continuing student scholarship application process for the 2011-12 academic year has changed; we are no longer accepting paper scholarship applications and your application and resume must be submitted electronically.  Please note that once you begin the online scholarship application, you cannot save it and return to it later.  Please be sure to have all your materials, including your personal statements, ready before you begin the online application.

General Information

Once each year the Marshall School of Business awards a number of scholarships to outstanding undergraduate students. These awards are made to recognize academic excellence and/or outstanding service, and provide tuition funding for one academic year only.

Since all awards are funded by outside donors, eligibility requirements must be observed. All students who submit a complete application will be considered for general awards being offered.  Although there is no minimum GPA requirement, students with an overall USC GPA above 3.50 are generally more competitive for most awards.

• Students must be admitted to business, accounting, or one of the joint programs (BCT, BAES, BAIR) as of June 1, 2011.
• Academic merit, extracurricular activities, leadership potential and/or work experience will be taken into consideration.
• Must be a continuing student that began USC prior to the Fall 2011 semester.

* Based upon the specified criteria of each donor, award criteria may also include field of study, financial need, ethnicity, military service, etc.

• The Marshall Scholarship Application link will be on this site beginning Tuesday, March 1, 2011. 
• Individual awards will vary depending on your financial aid package and/or the number of qualified applicants. Receipt of award monies may alter allocation of funds within your financial aid package.
• Notification and disbursement of awards will be made in July, 2011.  Please do not call to check on the status of your application.  All applicants, whether they receive an award or not, will be notified.
• All decisions made by the scholarship committee are final.
